On Sunday, July 27, enjoy a fun Glacier State Paddlers canoe trip on the Mukwonago River beginning at Marsh Road and ending at Phantom Lake. The short trip of around 4 miles begins at 10:30 am. This trip follows the winding but slow moving Mukwonago River thru woods and marsh, then ends up by canoeing across Phantom Lake where we will end up at the Phantom Woods Restaurant. Mute swans and many other waterfowl can be seen on this trip.

Please bring a bag lunch and beverage for the trip and gloves to protect your hands. Take I-43 to Hwy 83 and go north to Cty LO. Turn left and go about 3 miles to Marsh Rd going south (Beulah Rd goes north) for ¼ mile to the river.

Call GSP trip leader Lois Brown at 414-535-0014 to reserve a spot on the trip and to get trip details. Identify yourself as a Nordic Ski Club member. Canoe rental cost is a maximum of $6.00 per person. Money should be paid directly to Lois. There is no fee if you have your own canoe or kayak.
