November Lapham Peak State Park Trail Clearing

On Saturday, November 1, the Nordic Ski Club will be working with the Friends of Lapham Peak to help clear the trails in preparation for the winter ski season. We will start at 9 am at the Hausmann Nature Center parking lot. Although some tools will be provided by the park rangers, please bring a garden rake, shovel, and/or loppers if you have them as well as work gloves. After the work is done about noon, a chili lunch will be provided by Friends of Lapham Peak. Bring a dessert, bread or another item to share.

Directions: To get to Lapham Peak, go west on I-94 and take the Delafield, Cty Hwy C exit. Proceed south for one mile on Cty C, the park entrance is on the left (east) side of Hwy C.
