Exploring Natural Wisconsin Hike

It's time for another exploration! Do you want a chance to see fall color after the hardwood trees have dropped most of their leaves? If so, come join us the afternoon of Sunday, November 9 as we explore Huiras Lake near Waubeka. The color is from tamaracks on the undeveloped shoreline of this hardwater seepage lake, as well as in the adjoining relict kettle bog. The natural area also contains forest and a hardwood swamp. We may even see some late migrating birds. Afterward we have the option of enjoying some local cuisine.
