Meet us at Lapham Peak State Park at the Evergreen Shelter as we enjoy a late spring hike on the Ice Age Trail, celebrating National Trails Day with outdoor enthusiasts around the country.

Meet at 9:00am for registration, snacks and refreshments. The hike distance will be approximately 4-5 miles with a shorter 2 mile hike option available. The hike is rated moderate due to hills and distance. Please wear comfortable hiking boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water, bug spray, and sunscreen. Water to refill bottles and snacks will be provided. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length and under the owner's control at all times when on the Ice Age Trail.

Watch for the yellow and black Ice Age Trail Event signs to guide you to the parking lot. There is no entry fee or parking pass required to enter the park on National Trails Day. Trail passes, park and forest admission sticker passes are waived for the weekend.
