Upper Rock River GSP Canoe Trip

Join the Glacier State Paddlers for a fun day trip along a scenic section of the upper Rock River. The canoe trip will begin at Cty Road MM and end at Kaul Park near Cty CW for a distance of 11 miles. A 6 mile option to Harnischfager Park will also be offered. This trip is suitable for beginners. Meet at the Rock River on County MM at 10:00 am about a mile east of the town of Lebanon. Take Hwy 67 almost 10 miles north of Oconomowoc and turn left on Cty MM. The river is about 3 miles west of Hwy 67. Please bring a bag lunch, beverage, and gloves to protect your hands.

Call Mike Craig, GSP trip leader and Nordic member, at 414-552-5011 to reserve a spot on the trip and to get trip details (where to meet, etc.). Identify yourself as a Nordic Ski Club member. Canoe rental cost is a maximum of $6.00 per person. Money should be paid directly to Mike. There is no fee if you have your own canoe or kayak.
