Upper Rock River GSP Canoe Trip

Join the Glacier State Paddlers for a fun day trip along a scenic section of the upper Rock River from Cty Road O to Kanow Park. Meet at 10:00 am at the Rock River on Cty O. Take the Hwy 67 bypass almost 10 miles north of Oconomowoc and turn left on Cty O in Old Ashippun. The Rock River is about 1 1/2 miles west of Hwy 67.

The canoe trip will end at Kanow Park for a distance of 11 miles. This trip is suitable for beginners. Please bring a bag lunch, beverage, and gloves to protect your hands.

Call Mike Craig, GSP trip leader and Nordic member, at 414-552-5011 to reserve a spot on the trip and to get trip details. Identify yourself as a Nordic Ski Club member. Canoe rental cost is a maximum of $6.00 per person. Money should be paid directly to Mike. There is no fee if you have your own canoe or kayak.
