  • Scuppernong Trail Head, S58 W35820 County Rd ZZ Dousman, WI 53118
WHAT better way to spend a sunny Saturday in October, than to go hiking with your fellow Nordics.

WHERE:  Scuppernong Trail Head is located North of the town of Eagle on Hwy ZZ just east of Hwy 67, on the north side of the road. It is part of the Southern Kettle Morraine. See this link for more information and detailed map.

This is a state park and state park sticker is required.

HOW DO I GET THERE: you can call me for directions Julie Amundson: 262-567-4531, car pool with a friend, or look up directions in the Club Ski Trail Info.

WHY: Scuppernong is a beautiful set of hiking trails located in the Southern Kettle Moraine. At this time of year, the trees will begin their fall colors. There are three primary loops of trails: 2.3, 4.2, and 5 mile distances. You can hike all or part of a trail, combine portions of loops to achieve the distance of your choice.  The primarily intermediate rolling terrain offers  a trail for everyone.

After working up a vigorous appetite: Lunch at the Cornerstone Restaurant: in Genesee Depot, WI. Check out the menu here.

This little out of the way café offers a unique and healthy menu for vegetarians and carnivores alike.
