Nordic Trails Hike and Earth Day Celebration

Need a change, want to up your activity level, celebrate Earth Day, go to a planetarium, and listen to music? Here's your chance.

Start your day hiking with fellow Nordics at Nordic Trails in Southern Kettle Moraine at 10:00 am Saturday April 22. Choose a trail of your choice distance and difficulty. For details, check out this website: WI Kettle Moraine South Nordic Trails.

We can take a break and eat lunch at the Backyard Bike Shop. The second half of your adventure can take you to Retzer Nature Center’s Earth Week. It’s a free day. There will be a Planetarium Show every half hour until 3:00 pm, music from 3 - 5 pm, or try the Magical Mystery Tour from 7:15 - 9 pm, which is a Guided Twilight Hike into Brown’s Fen and listen to nature’s symphony. We’ll meet at the Shelter at Nordic Ski Trails at 10:00 am. For questions call Julie Amundson 262-468-8223. A state park sticker is required at the Nordic Ski Trail Head. Entrance to Retzer Nature Center is free this day.
