Join the Glacier State Paddlers for a canoe trip on a section of the Rock River from Watertown to Hwy B in Johnson Creek. It’s a distance of 10 to 11 miles. The trip starts at 10:00 am.

To get to the trip starting point, take I-94 west to Hwy 26 (Johnson Creek exit) and go north to the Business 26 exit. Turn left to Hwy Y at the exit roundabout, then continue about 1/2 mile to the next roundabout and go right on Jefferson Road. Follow Jefferson Road a short distance to Cappies Landing on your left (before you drive back under Hwy 26). Please bring a bag lunch, beverage, and gloves to protect your hands.

Call Mike Craig, GSP trip leader and Nordic member, at 414-552-5011 to reserve a spot on the trip and to get trip details (where to meet, etc.). Identify yourself as a Nordic Ski Club member. Canoe rental cost will probably be $6.00 per person. Money should be paid directly to Mike. There is no fee if you have your own canoe or kayak.
