Join Glacier State Paddlers for canoeing on the Bark River from Lower Nemahbin Lake to Genesee Lake Road on Sunday, June 17.  The trip will begin with a 1:00 pm launch starting at Sugar Island Road off County P.  This is an easy, scenic trip on a surprisingly clear “close to town” river.   Cool off along the way with a swim in Crooked Lake.  After we take out at Genesee Lake Road, we will head to Cushing Memorial Park west of Delafield for a cookout.  Bring your own entrée, drinks, and a dish to pass.  Grills will be provided. 

Call GSP trip leader Lynn Pagenkop at 414-540-1161 to reserve a spot on the trip and to get trip details (where and when to meet, etc.).  Identify yourself as a Nordic Ski Club member.  Canoe rental cost is $5.00 per person.  Money should be paid directly to Lynn at the launch site.  There is no fee if you have your own canoe or kayak.
