Our next Cuisines will be at Arepanitas, 136 E St. Paul Avenue in Waukesha. The date is Wednesday, October 17, 2018. The owner was born in Venezuela of a Trinidadian father and a Spanish mother. He also had the opportunity to travel widely and develop recipes that infused traditional Venezuelan recipes with other flavors from around the world. Some choices on the menu are Pabellon Criollo, a traditional Venezuelan stew consisting of shredded beef, black beans and rice, Choripan, a chorizo sandwich popular throughout Latin America and Cachapas, pancakes sold as road side snacks in Venezela.
