Join us on a bike ride in the country starting at Bicycle Doctors in Dousman on Saturday, May 18. Paul Keber will lead a 37-mile bike ride beginning at 10:00 am. This ride will be mostly in the countryside, consisting of easy terrain with flat, open areas as well as rolling terrain with moderate hills. We’ll take a lunch break in the town of Rome, and will also pass through the town of Concord. If 37 miles is a bit long, shortly after the Rome stop you can head back to Dousman on the flat Glacial Drumlin Trail for a 29-mile ride. This portion of the trail is crushed limestone, and a Wisconsin Trails Pass is required. Cue sheets with a map will be available for the ride.
To get to the start of the ride, exit I-94 at Highway 67 and head south to Highway 18. Turn right on Highway 18 and go 0.5 miles, then turn left on Main Street and go south 0.7 miles. Please park in the lot across the street from Bicycle Doctors. The 37-mile ride will end in the parking lot around 1:30 pm. Bike helmets are not required, but are strongly recommended. Please contact Paul at 262-547-4827 with any questions.
