This year we’ll be back at Big Cedar Lake and able to do a variety of fun activities. The beach house has a full kitchen with water, sink, stove, and a refrigerator to store items. It has indoor bathrooms. There is a large table to set group food.  Attached to the house is a large covered deck with picnic tables.

There is a beach for swimming with a shallow sandy area. A new access drive from the parking area to the boat slips should be finished. You can drive your vehicle down to the beach level and drop off your kayaks and canoes to launch. There are trails to hike on the campus. Or you can lounge on the lawn by the beach house or bring games to play. Bring sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and your favorite lawn game if you wish.
 
We’ll be eating around 1 pm. There are 2 grills available for our use. Please bring a dish to share and your own meat to grill. Charcoal, ice, and table service (plates, napkins, cups, and plastic utensils) will be provided.

From Milwaukee, take Highway 41 north to the Highway 41/45 split. Follow 41 north to Highway 144 North for about 0.3 miles. Turn right onto County NN. Follow for about 4 miles. Go straight onto Highway Z and then left onto Home Drive, which will lead in to Cedar Community. Take the campus road to the left past the main nursing home building. Turn right onto Lake Drive (will be marked with a special sign) and take this road down the hill and follow the signs to parking (open grassy area). There will be a short walk from the parking area to the Beach House. The Lake drive entrance has a new gate, it may auto lock at 2:00pm. If you arrive after 2:00pm and the gate is locked please call my cell phone number and I can come and let you in.
