Join us for a bike ride on the Bugline Trail starting at the Applewood Mall Shopping Center in Menomonee Falls (W173N9170, St Francis Dr) on Saturday, May 30. Plenty of free parking exists there.  Alan Siegl will lead a 24.4-mile bike ride beginning at 10:00 am. This ride will be the original Bugline Trail from Menomonee Fall to Merton and back. It is a paved trail that is mostly flat. At the halfway point in Merton, we can take a group vote to return immediately or extend the ride to 31 miles continuing on to North Lake before returning (or split the group if desired). There are plenty of lunch opportunities at the end of the route in Menomonee Falls, but if hungry earlier, Sussex also offers several dining options (bring a bike lock to lock your bike up at lunch in case you join us).

The ride starts just north of old downtown Menomonee Falls near Appleton Ave and Shady Lane. Use Google Maps for guidance from your location. Please park on the west side of the lot near the St Francis Dr entrance. The ride will take 2 hours returning from Merton, or 3 hours returning from North Lake, plus any lunch stops in the middle or end of the trip. The Nordic Ski Club of Milwaukee (NSCM) will continue to practice social distancing and the use of face masks, as recommended by the CDC and Wisconsin authorities.
