Enjoy a summer evening with a twilight paddle on the Milwaukee River. Join other Nordics and Glacier State Paddlers members Wednesday evening on June 24 starting at 6:00 pm and ending at dusk.  We’ll paddle north on the Milwaukee River through downtown Milwaukee and will end near twilight, so please bring a flashlight.

Launch site is the Harbor View Plaza at the east terminus of Greenfield Ave on the Kinnickinnic River across from Jones Island. Come 15 minutes before the 6:00 launch to help get canoes and kayaks into the water. No bathroom at the put in. Use the bathroom at the Cermac Fresh Market before unloading your boat.

Let GSP trip leader Debbie Luetzow know you are attending by calling or texting her at 414-333-0064.  Identify yourself as a Nordic Ski Club member.  There will be no canoe rentals for this event.

The Nordic Ski Club of Milwaukee (NSCM) will continue to practice social distancing and the use of face masks, as recommended by the CDC and Wisconsin authorities. Know that your participation in any event is at your own risk.
