While we're all crying in our beer over this year's Birkie cancellation, let's also feel a bit sorry for this fellow trying to compete for his home country in the Nordic world ski championships in Lahti, Finland.
The poor fellow is from Venezuela and had never skied on snow before! Needless to say, he didn't place very well. (We've all been in this guy's shoes, too.)
