Wow! A second term. Thank you very much for inviting
me to serve as your president of the Nordic Ski Club for another
year.
Cathy Yekenevicz has retired as Club Treasurer. We
thank her profusely for her years of service going back into the
early 80’s. Cathy has served as Treasurer under more Presidents
than she could count. We also thank Lois Gresl for stepping in
to finish Kate Johnson’s term. Lois served previous terms on the
Board so the transition was seamless and her input valuable.
Warm welcome to Crystal Hoecherl and Becky Yakes.
Crystal already works with the Program Committee and still
decided that she has time for the Board. Becky has graciously
agreed to take on the duties of Club Treasurer. Thank you both
for volunteering!
Volunteers are the backbone of any organization. Many
hands keep the Nordic Ski Club fun and interesting to play. Trip
leaders and the Program Committee, led by Paul Keber, have
done another tremendous job keeping us on the ski/bike/hike
trails, at social gatherings and on the waterways. You’re the
best!
A couple of the bus trips had a few open seats. Our best
referrals are word of mouth, therefore, the Board would like to
promote a new Nordic Membership Drive. Earn a $10 Ski Trip
