Enjoy pizza and a show with striking nature photos at the October 18, 2024, season kickoff meeting of the Nordic Ski Club of Milwaukee. This is also the first time you can sign up for three motorcoach cross-country ski trips we're offering in winter 2024-2025. We’ll be cross-country skiing at the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan; ABR near Ironwood, Mich.; and Minocqua, Wis. The photo presentation will be by nature photographer Eddee Daniel, who has explored many Wisconsin locations, including the Menomonee River and urban parks. For that Friday evening meeting, food is free if you register in advance. Also coming up: A holiday gathering in December and our annual winter picnic in January at Lapham Peak State Forest.
