You’ve marked your calendars for the Holiday Gathering for Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Lapham Peak.

Now plan to come out and ski the man-made ski trails near Evergreen before the party. There are a couple of nice loops already snow covered and groomed. Even with warm temps the skiing will be great.

If someone wants to lead a hike on the trails starting at Homestead Hollow, contact Paul at pkeber@milwpc.com with a starting time and he will send out another email blast to registrants.

Non-members will pay $15 at the door, if registered.

Members please look for the cash donation jar to help offset the cost of the food.

REGISTRATION CLOSED Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

Expect to enjoy a selection of foods, including: four types of pasta-based salads (two will be vegetarian), party sized warm cheese-based sandwiches, party sized warm turkey or possibly beef sandwich trays, vegetarian and meat-based tortilla roll ups trays, veggie trays, and more.

In addition to the food that will be served, we ask that you considering baking a few cookies or a dessert to add to the festivities. Contact Carol at tortoiseski@wi.rr.com with your dessert items choices.

Where:   Lapham Peak State Forest, off Hwy C near Delafield, Wisconsin; Trecker Lodge, Homestead Hollow, Lapham Peak

Desserts: Drop off starting at noon

Required: You'll need a Wisconsin State Park sticker or a daily park pass purchased at the entrance.

There will be optional hiking and/or skiing before and after the Trecker Lodge event.
