The Nordic Ski Club of Milwaukee’s annual winter picnic, monthly meeting will be held January 12, 2025.

When: Sunday, January 12, 2025

Picnic: Noon, Homestead Hollow parking lot, Trecker Lodge accessed from the Homestead Hollow parking lot via a walking path.

Reserve your spot for the picnic lunch by registering no later than Tuesday, January 7. The club will supply sub sandwiches and water for the indoor picnic.

If you plan to ski on the snowmaking loop located by Evergreen parking area, check the Friends of Lapham Peak website trail conditions report for current conditions.

Event Location: Kettle Moraine State Forest-Lapham Peak Unit, W329 N846 County C, Delafield, WI 53018. If you are told by the park office attendant when you arrive that the park is full, state that you are attending a Nordic Ski Club of Milwaukee event at Trecker Lodge.

Directions: On highway I-94 between Madison and Milwaukee, take the Delafield exit and drive south on County Road C for 0.9 miles to the park entrance, on the east side of the road.

Entrance fee: Purchase admission stickers online, by calling 888-305-0398, or at Lapham Peak. Resident annual vehicle, $28; senior (65+), $13; daily $8. Statewide trail pass (for skiing), $25.
